Refund policy

Although I try to re-create similar products, each piece will be unique with variations in size and colour as they are handmade. Due to the process of handmade ceramics, it might be out of my control to create each product to be exactly the same.

All products are final sale therefore:

  • Returns, exchanges and refunds are not accepted for the below instances:
    • Shipping/dispatch costs are non-refundable once the order has been processed.
    • Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
    • Yume Clay Works is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect, closed or undeliverable address. If your parcel cannot be delivered due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or business closure and is "returned to sender", Yume Clay Works is not responsible for any shipping fees. I’m happy to re-dispatch your parcel back to a different address however, you will be asked to cover shipping costs for re-dispatch. 
    • Commissioned/custom orders are final sale.


  • Returns and refunds are accepted for the below instances:
    • Update or cancellation request prior to processing of the order. Please reach out to Yume Clay Works immediately via the contact page as orders are typically processed within 12-24 hours.
    • Product returns are accepted in the event an incorrect product is dispatched. Please inspect upon receipt and if this does occur, please get in touch with Yume Clay Works via the contact page within 48 hours of receipt so the order can be rectified. If the product/s have been used, I cannot offer a refund due to safety concerns.
    • Refunds relating to receipt of product damaged during transit. Please inspect upon receipt and if this does occur, please get in touch with Yume Clay Works via the contact page within 48 hours of receipt so we can arrange/issue a full refund or the full amount I can get from the insurance company.

 

    • Refunds relating to lost parcel during transit. If this does occur, please get in touch with Yume Clay Works via the contact page so I can arrange/issue a (full or partial) refund or the full amount I can get from the insurance company.
      • For refunds, if you get in touch more than a month after the original dispatch date, couriers do not typically refund shipping or insurance a month or more after dispatch.
